FLU ALERT!

Well the last 36 hours have been a blast--dd has the flu. Not just a little old flu, but the Super Flu. Like, I think it might be possible it was a biological weapon being developed and if not, it should be. She has been throwing up every 20 or 30 mins. Luckily, the doctor called in a prescription for her of Zofran and that kept her tummy in check for a few hours. I feel so bad for her because if she took one sip of water she was heaving 5 mins later. Poor girl.

I obviously didnt get a workout in since I was dealing with her all day, but on the plus side I didnt have the appetite to really eat. :)

Hope all of you are well and if anyone has any tips or advice on dealing with the flu, I would LOVE to hear them!

Not much advice on the flu and I don't know how old your daughter is but one thing I've always used for nausea is Bonine. It's for motion sickness and it's chewable. My mom use to give it to me when I was little for car sickness when we went on vacation.

Now I always keep some on hand for those flu times.

It's non prescreption Meclazine or Antivert. Meclazine is what they give on cruise ships for sea sickness.
