My flight last night was wretched. It was snowing Chicago and we were delayed so that the plane could be deiced. Then coming in to VA the winds were so bad we came down to land twice and had to go back up. People were grabbing the seats in front of them and holding them the plane was shaking so hard. The pilots were great though and got us down safely and it was a mild 60 degrees when we landed.
We headed straight over to grandmas were there was pizza, brownies, panera, deli trays, cobb salads, etc. So, I tried to minimize the damage and eat only a little bit and lots of salad (minus the bacon of coure) and drink lots of water. It was so good to see all my family, especially my cousin Luke who I saw this morning. We are almost the same age and I havent seen him in years.
Tonight is the wake and tomorrow is the funeral. I will keep you posted.

It sounds like your doing a great job, even with all the temptations.
So yea I don't want to fly anytime soon.
Glad you're staying an extra day, its going to be icky (4-6" of snow) Fri/Sat here. Del Boca can't come soon enough...
